Tottenham's Mauricio Pochettino adamant Son Heung-Min can solve Spurs' striker shortage
MAURICIO POCHETTINO claimed Tottenham do not need a striker this month after Son Heung-Min inspired their FA Cup victory at Leicester.
Son Heung-Min has scored twice in 14 Premier League appearances so far for Spurs
The Spurs boss watched the Korean score one goal and make another in a third-round replay win as England forward Harry Kane was rested.
And Pochettino then insisted his side can challenge for honours without adding firepower in January - and warned he will not risk upsetting his squad with the wrong signing.
Spurs have checked out a host of goalscorers including West Brom's Saido Berahino to help ease the burden on Kane but Pochettino said: "We have one of the best strikers in the world [Kane]. If we get another offensive player, we need to bring the right one, who will fight for us.
"Because if you take the wrong decision, maybe you break the balance in the squad and changing room.
