Ed Woodward can't keep his eyes open as he returns to Manchester
Manchester United's chief executive has a busy week ahead as Tuesday's 6pm transfer deadline inches closer.
The 43-year-old, an accountant by trade, is under pressure to land boss Louis van Gaal a big-name striker before his squad is cemented until January at the earliest.
Woodward flew to Barcelona last week with a £21.4million deal for Pedro in mind, but saw United's move hijacked by rivals Chelsea.
Any of that trio signing this late in the window seems unlikely, but Woodward is not short of confidence.
However, he looks a bit short of energy if pictures of him arriving home at 1.20am last night after United's comprehensive 4-0 second-leg play-off win at Bruges.

Rooney said: "I am delighted to get the goals. More importantly, it was a massive game for the club, to get through to the group stage, after being out of it last year.
"To be honest, if I did not have a strong character, then maybe the drought would have affected me but I know my quality. I know what I give to the team. If the goals don’t go in I still bring a lot to my team-mates. I wasn't worried.

Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward arrives back in Manchester
"If it was going on for three, four or five games more, then maybe so. But it's early days and I knew when chances came I'd take them.
"Everyone goes back to last season when I didn't score towards the end. People make a big thing of it. I understand. I've understood since a young age because of my name, because of who I am, it will get publicised a lot more. That is part of my job. I've to accept that.
"United have to be in the Champions League. It was a big disappointment last year, not to challenge. It is exciting now."
