Who could they face: Man Utd await Champions League fate with European heavyweights
MANCHESTER UNITED have been confirmed as seeds in pot two for the UEFA Champions League group stage draw, which will take place this afternoon (4.45pm).
UEFA have made a significant change to the draw proceedings with the champions of the top seven associations all taking a place in pot 1.
Barcelona, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Benfica, Paris Saint-Germain, Zenit St Petersburg and PSV are among the top seeds. PSV are the champions of the eighth association, Netherlands, but receive a top seeding place due to Barcelona being Spanish champions as well as European champions.
The rest of the teams are divided into the remaining three pots by their UEFA club coefficient ranking.
United are in the second set of seeds alongside Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, FC Porto, Arsenal, Manchester City, Valencia and Bayer Leverkusen.
