Juventus have slapped a £71million price tag on the 22-year-old, who has attracted interest from Manchester United and Barcelona too.

But Barcelona presidential candidate Joan Laporta thinks Juve will put the bidding war on hold until after the Catalan giants' election on July 18.

"We will talk to the Italian club, but until there’s a new president they won’t want to discuss the matter," Laporta said.

“This is a clue that Juventus want to sell, if what they say is true. I don’t think they will get together with us until after July 19.”
