Chelsea Transfer News: Pogba DEADLINE, £30m 'wildcard' on move, BARGAIN Remy replacement

Chelsea are on tenterhooks for Paul Pogba, according to reports.

Juventus have slapped a £71million price tag on the 22-year-old, who has attracted interest from Manchester United and Barcelona too.

But Barcelona presidential candidate Joan Laporta thinks Juve will put the bidding war on hold until after the Catalan giants' election on July 18.

"We will talk to the Italian club, but until there’s a new president they won’t want to discuss the matter," Laporta said.

“This is a clue that Juventus want to sell, if what they say is true. I don’t think they will get together with us until after July 19.”

Oscar has been talked up with a £30million move to Juventus.

Juve boss Massimo Allegri has confirmed his interest in the playmaker, whom he believes is a 'wildcard', as he said: "I’d like someone able to invent football without being banal.

“I like Isco of Real Madrid and the Brazilian Oscar. Among the Italians, I’d say Domenico Berardi and Federico Bernardeschi.”

The Blues are also thought to be keen to gazump Newcastle for Anderlecht striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, according to reports.
