CONFIRMED: Juventus sign Argentina star who could replace Man Utd and Arsenal target
JUVENTUS have completed the permanent signing of Udinese midfielder Roberto Pereyra.
Arturo Vidal - Spotlight On
The Argentina international spent the last season on loan in Turin, helping Massimo Allegri's side lift another Serie A title while also reaching the Champions League final.
Pereyra joins on a four-year contract, with Juventus paying Udinese £10million for the privilege.
The 24-year-old was in fine form for his club in the last campaign, making 35 domestic appearances after winning the first of his six international caps last October against Brazil.
Pereyra's arrival could spell the end of Arturo Vidal's career at Juventus following the Chilean's drink-driving antics in his homeland.
Roberto Pereyra has signed for Juventus on a permanent deal
Allegri is apparently keen to keep hold of Frenchman Paul Pogba, and is willing to sell Vidal in order to balance the books.
Manchester United and Arsenal are said to be interested, although Real Madrid are believed to have dropped out of the race for his signature.
