Christian Benteke Player Profile
Brendan Rodgers is keen to bolster his attacking options following a disappointing season and Aston Villa front-man Benteke is high on his wish list, according to The Sun.
If Benteke were to secure a move to Anfield, he could see his wages double from £50,000 to £100,000 per week.
However, Liverpool will have to battle with Roma, Chelsea and Manchester United who are also keen to sign the Belgian international.
Benteke has bagged ten goals in the last ten matches for Villa with his latest coming in the 6-1 defeat to Southampton on Saturday.

The 24-year-old joined Villa in 2012 in a £7million move, however, he stunned manager Paul Lambert by handing in a transfer request a year later.
Tottenham and Wolfsburg both lodged bids to sign Benteke but he was then persuaded to sign a new four-year contract.
