SPOTTED! Mario Balotelli leaves Anfield clutching Pepe's shirt (after watching game on TV)
LIVERPOOL misfit Mario Balotelli was spotted holding a bag with the shirt of Real Madrid defender Pepe last night.
Balotelli caused a stir by swapping shirts with Pepe at half-time, with Real leading 3-0.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has intimated that the Italian will be fined for the incident, just like Philippe Coutinho and Mamadou Sakho were after doing the same at Chelsea last season.
But despite causing a stir at Anfield with his shirt-swap, Balotelli was determined to take his souvenir home.
The 24-year-old was interviewed after the game holding a bag with Pepe's Real shirt visible in it.
Balotelli was substituted at the break by Rodgers, but that was "purely for tactical reasons".
The former Manchester City striker did not emerge at all in the second half, failing to sit with the rest the Liverpool squad as the struggled to contain the Cristiano Ronaldo and co.
Instead, Balotelli chose to watch the rest of the game on a TV inside the home dressing room.
