Chelsea are keen to sign Coleman from Everton [GETTY]
According to the Sun, Blues boss Jose Mourinho is lining up a £20million offer for the right-back believing he has the qualities to become Chelsea's first-choice right back.
Chelsea scouts believe Colman will be the perfect replacement for Bransilav Ivanovic who has never been keen on playing in that position, however the Blues could be facing competition to secure the signature of the Republic of Ireland international.
Manchester United are thought to be keen to sign the 25-year-old believing he is keen on a move to Old Trafford to play for the club he supports.
The defender, who joined the Toffees after being scouted by Mick Doherty who now works for Mourinho, is under contract at Everton until 2019.
