Reports in Germany this week suggested that Drmic may have already struck a deal to move to the Emirates in the summer.
Indeed, no less an authority than Lothar Matthaus claimed to know the deal was "done" and suggested that the player's wife was already in London looking for a flat.
But Drmic has hit back at the speculation and claims that he has neither a wife nor a girlfriend to whom Matthaus could be referring.

What I do know is that it's every boy's dream to go to Arsenal

He said: "Right now I'm single. There is no-one in London looking for a home."
"What I do know is that it's every boy's dream to go to Arsenal."
Drmic reportedly has a £4m release clause in his contract but Nurnberg value the striker at closer to £20m and are reluctant to let him leave before they get a chance to renegotiate his current deal, which expires in 2017.
While the bargain nature of the deal is sure to appeal to Arsene Wenger, but it seems that there is still some work to be done before Matthaus's assertion proves to be accurate.
