Jurgen Klopp’s wife Ulla ensured she went to huge lengths to attend Liverpool parade
Jurgen Klopp's wife Ulla Sandrock has supported him throughout his legendary Liverpool tenure, repeatedly displaying her love for him and the club.
Jurgen Klopp's wife Ulla Sandrock went to extraordinary lengths to witness a Liverpool victory parade. The outgoing Reds manager has been inundated with tributes as he steps down after a nine-year tenure.
Besides clinching numerous trophies, including the Premier League and Champions League, the German has won over Merseyside with his connection to the city. His wife is equally admired for her charitable contributions, such as her donation to Formby Community Football Club during the 2020 lockdown, which assisted with food and medicine deliveries.
Like Klopp, she's an ardent supporter of the Reds. In 2019, she joined the thousands of fans celebrating the club's Champions League final triumph over Tottenham. The day after the match in Madrid, supporters filled the streets for an open-top bus parade. Unable to get a clear view of her husband and Liverpool's champions, Sandrock climbed atop a bin as the bus passed by, reports the Mirror.

Sandrock's love for the area played a significant role in Klopp signing a new long-term contract in 2022, although he will not complete it due to his decision to step down.
"I stay for another two years," he announced after prolonging his contract till 2026. "Why is now the question? Because Ulla wants to stay and, as a good husband, what are you doing when your wife wants to stay? You are staying."
He further explained: "We sat at the kitchen table and Ulla said, 'I can't see us leaving in 2024'. I said 'what?' That's how it all started and when that started I thought, 'let's have a think'."
However, after recording a 2-0 victory against Wolves, Klopp made an emotional exit from Anfiel. He urged the home crowd to throw their support behind incoming boss Arne Slot in his farewell speech.
