The midfielder was heavily linked with making a big-money move to Anfield last summer as part of the Reds’ rebuild, but alternative targets were favoured.

Manchester United are reportedly attempting to hijack Newcastle’s move for Tosin Adarabioyo.
The defender is set to leave Fulham as a free agent this summer and is locked in negotiations with the Magpies over a quick-fire move to St James’ Park.

Mikel Arteta can make the move permanent in the summer, and Seaman told Betway: "With David it was difficult for him at the start because he wasn't used to the pressure of Arsenal. Everybody spoke about his stats last season, but they were for Brentford. When he first came, he found it hard to get to grips with it but now he's gone on to win the Golden Glove, and that's fantastic for him.
"It just needs that little cherry on top with Premier League winners’ medal."
