Four Man Utd players Solskjaer could sign at Bayern to get the gang back together
COMMENT: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could return to management for the first time since leaving Manchester United.
Former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly being monitored by Bayern Munich with a view to bringing him in to replace Thomas Tuchel on an interim basis. Here, Express Sport takes you through four Red Devils stars who could reunite with the Norwegian if he lands in Bavaria and makes a good enough impression to stay beyond the summer...
Scott McTominay
The Scotsman is already believed to be on Bayern's radar due to reported interest last summer, when the German giants tried and failed to lure fellow central midfielder Joao Palhinha away from Craven Cottage.
Solskjaer, who propelled McTominay from a bit-part academy graduate to a first-team regular during his time at Old Trafford, could advance the 27-year-old to the top of Bayern's hit list if given the opportunity - particularly if midfield maestro Joshua Kimmich leaves at the end of the season.

Harry Maguire
The Sheffield-born star has seen plenty of action this term due to a raft of defensive injuries in Erik ten Hag's squad. But that doesn't disguise the fact former skipper Maguire finds himself way down the pecking order when everyone is fit.
A move to West Ham almost materialised last summer as United pondered cashing in. They would surely listen to offers in a few months' time, too, if Maguire is presented with the chance to join fellow England internationals Harry Kane and Eric Dier at the Allianz Arena.

Anthony Martial
The best years of Martial's career were spent under Solskjaer's stewardship. Between 2018 and 2020, the French international reached double figures in consecutive Premier League campaigns, hitting heights he has not come close to since.
Martial is set to leave United as a free agent this summer and opportunities could be scarce after another dismal campaign. That is, unless Solskjaer fancies giving the 28-year-old a shot at resurrecting his career in the Bundesliga.

Mason Greenwood
The 22-year-old is spending the season on loan at Getafe after being told he has no future at Man Utd. A solid return of 10 goal contributions in 21 La Liga matches has sparked plenty of interest, with numerous Spanish heavyweights said to be keeping tabs.
It remains to be seen whether Bayern would throw their hat into the ring if Solskjaer is appointed on a longer-term basis. Like Martial, Greenwood excelled under the Norwegian, bagging 17 goals across all competitions in 2019/20.
