Ten Hag questions refereeing decisions as Man Utd lose in Copenhagen
Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund insists his team-mates are backing Erik ten Hag to succeed at Old Trafford despite another dismal defeat. The Red Devils were beaten 4-3 by Copenhagen to put their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League knockout rounds in serious doubt.

Hojlund put United ahead inside three minutes and United led 3-2 heading into the final 10 minutes of normal time. However, a remarkable late comeback by the Danish side, sealed by a goal from the 17-year-old Roony Bardghji, condemned United to another loss.
Ten Hag has now overseen a staggering nine defeats this season, including three in a Champions League group featuring Bayern Munich, Galatasaray and Copenhagen. Wide-ranging reports have claimed that United’s players are split over the job Ten Hag is doing.
However, £72million summer signing Hojlund insists that every player in the United dressing room supports the Dutchman. He has backed his manager to be successful in the near future.

Hojlund, who scored twice in the defeat against his former club, said of Ten Hag: “A really good coach. He cares about every single detail and he helps me a lot, gives me a lot of confidence and supports me. I think every player in the dressing room supports him.
“I hope it is just a matter of time [before United will be successful]. The first 30 minutes today was some of the best football we have been playing this season.”
United played the second half with 10 men after Marcus Rashford’s red card at the end of the opening period. Ten Hag believed the dismissal swung the momentum in Copenhagen’s favour after seeing his side impress in the opening stages of the match.

"We are very disappointed because we played very good," the United boss insisted. "We started the game so well. Our best minutes of the season. We are winning the game and the red card changes everything."
He felt that there were too many errors in the game but described his side’s performance as ‘positive’, adding: "It's a game of mistakes. I wouldn't say we did everything right but there are a lot of positives.
"Even with 10 men we were dictating the game. We played very good."
