Ten Hag details meeting with Ratcliffe amid Man Utd bid
This summer, Manchester United are open to selling Fred. And that transfer decision has been made four years after Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who wants to buy the club now, hit out at the Brazil international. The midfielder has been linked with Fulham amid uncertainty over his Old Trafford future, while Jose Mourinho’s Roma have been credited with an interest as well.

The United star often struggled for regular starting action last term, with Erik ten Hag choosing other players instead.
And the arrival of Mason Mount from Chelsea will further lessen his chances of being a key player at Old Trafford.
United know they need to sell well this summer to add more money to Ten Hag’s transfer kitty.
They’re pressing ahead with plans to bring in Andre Onana from Inter Milan, while youngster Rasmus Hojlund is another player of interest.
Fred could join Fulham, with Cottagers boss Marco Silva talking to the 30-year-old after a Premier League match between the two sides at the end of May.

But Roma have been linked as well, with Mourinho previously signing the player for United in 2018.
Fabrizio Romano recently confirmed Fred had changed agents ahead of a possible exit, saying: "Understand Fred has now picked new agents, same group as Gabriel Jesus.
"He could leave as Fulham will bid for Fred but also Saudi clubs want him.
"He’s under contract until 2024 at Man United but understands that playing a more important role is key now for his future."
And Fred said last month: "I still don't know [about my future], I have to talk with my family.

"I still have one year left on my contract here. Now it's holiday time and a good opportunity to rest.
“I’ll talk to my staff, to the club, and see what everyone's decision is.
"I do have to talk with [Erik] ten Hag as well; he's the manager and the conversation has to involve everyone. We have to see how next season will play out.
"I want to be important; I want to help the team, so we'll see. But I've always been and still am very happy at Manchester United."
