Manchester United are looking to sign Rasmus Hojlund this summer. And if the Atalanta forward does end up moving to Old Trafford, then his girlfriend Laura Rhod Sondergaard will likely follow him to England. The forward is being pursued by Erik ten Hag at a time when the club are being priced out of a deal for Tottenham’s Harry Kane.
Manchester United are determined to add a new striker to their squad this summer.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Wout Weghorst have both departed, Mason Greenwood’s situation remains unclear and Anthony Martial has long been too inconsistent.
In a dream world, United would sign Kane. With the Tottenham star difficult to land, however, they’re now moving on to alternatives.
And it’s Hojlund who now seems to be Ten Hag’s top transfer target, having impressed with nine goals for Atalanta last season.
United have, according to some, already agreed personal terms with the youngster.

And while United want Hojlund, they’re also still monitoring Kane’s situation.
The Red Devils would ideally bring in the 29-year-old this summer, with Ten Hag a huge admirer of the Tottenham star.
But with Daniel Levy set to price Kane out of a move to a Premier League rival, United are looking at alternatives.
Meanwhile, Louis Saha was recently asked about Hojlund and whether he’s ready to shine at Old Trafford.
And the Frenchman praised the youngster, while also saying they needed somebody of Kane’s calibre as well.

“I think he [Hojlund] has terrific potential and he’s certainly capable of leading a line,” he said.
“But I don’t believe he can provide the guarantee that somebody like Harry Kane could.
“Manchester United however may need two signings in that area because we don’t know whether Anthony Martial’s going to stay or not, or whether he'll be able to play as much as Erik ten Hag requires.
“We’re going to need two strikers if we’re going to win the Premier League and I believe Rasmus has the right profile to be one of those strikers, but only if he’s alongside a big-name number nine such as Harry Kane.”
