Chelsea and Arsenal are just two of the clubs that needed no invitation to capitalise on the official opening of the summer transfer window earlier this week. Both sides have been leading the charge in the quest for new recruits and have even engaged in negotiations with one another over Kai Havertz.
The Blues have a few plates spinning in terms of outgoing as they seek to raise fears they will be crippled by Financial Fair Play regulations.
Mason Mount, Mateo Kovacic and Kai Havertz are expected to follow N'Golo Kante out the door as Mauricio Pochettino begins to rip up the team he inherited from Frank Lampard before starting from scratch.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are continuing their never-ending search for a striker while Manchester City are preparing for a string of high-profile exits following their historic treble success.
Express Sport has you covered with the latest transfer news on Saturday, June 17.
Arsenal are said to be 'very confident' that they will complete the signings of Kai Havertz and Declan Rice this summer.
The Gunners are looking to snap up the Chelsea attacker and West Ham midfielder imminently. It's claimed by Sky Sports Germany that the two deals are both in 'advanced stages'.

Napoli centre-back Kim Min-jae looks Bayern Munich bound with a contract almost agreed.
Fabrizio Romano reports Bayern plan to active the South Korean's release clause - worth around £43million - once it becomes available between July 1st to 15th.
Manchester United had liked the look of Kim but have been beaten to the punch with Bayern acting fast after Lucas Hernandez informed them he wants to leave.

Leeds United defender Robin Koch has been linked with a low-cost move to Manchester United.
But BILD say that the German defender could return to his home country to play in the Bundesliga, with Eintracht Frankfurt pushing to sign the centre-half.
It has been disputed by Leeds that the player can leave for free. Any exit is likely to be below his market value because he has just 12 months left on his contract.
West Ham are another Premier League team linked with the defender.
Robin #Koch, evaluating his options now as he can leave @LUFC on free deal. He wants to be a leader and regular starter in his new team. He wants to be part of the EURO 24. @Eintracht with good chances at this stage as boss Kr\u00f6sche is pushing a lot! #SGE
Chelsea are eager to find an agreement to sell Kai Havertz to Arsenal although the Gunners don't want to match the fee being asked of them.
That's according to Fabrizio Romano, after Chelsea rejected an opening offer for the German attacker.
The Blues want to recoup £75million to sell Havertz in spite of the fact he ultimately has not lived up to expectations in three seasons at the club.
Arsenal will make an improved second bid and it appears all parties are eager to broker an agreement.

Edouard Mendy and Hakim Ziyech are both in talks over prospective moves to Saudi Arabia to join Al-Ahli and Al Nassr respectively.
But they're not the only Chelsea players who could be headed to the Middle East - so too could Kalidou Koulibaly it has emerged.
The Senegalese centre-back only joined the Blues from Napoli 12 months ago but had a disappointing year at Stamford Bridge.
And his agent is in talks with several Saudi clubs over a potential move in the coming weeks and months.

Fabrizio Romano is reportedly that South Korean centre back Ji-soo Kim will be in England next week in order to sign the contract and become new Brentford player. Done deal.
He says: "Understand contract will be valid until June 2027 for the Korean who made FIFA top XI team for U20 World Cup."
The defender is high rated having recently shone at the U21 World Cup in South America.
The centre-back is expected to join Brentford's B team to begin with.
Reports in Italy claim Chelsea have asked about the prospect of signing Nicolo Barella in a package that would see Romelu Lukaku complete a permanent switch to San Siro.
Italian newspaper Il Corriere dello Sport suggest Chelsea have asked for Barella in exchange for Lukaku, a request that is unlikely to capture the interest of Inter.
Earlier this week, reports claimed Newcastle were working on a £50m deal for Barella.
Liverpool are also thought to be interested and Jurgen Klopp has previously declared his admiration for the Italian "who has everything you want from a midfielder."
The Mirror say super-agent Jorge Mendes has been given a mandate to sell striker Goncalo Ramos.
Manchester United are expected to be among the clubs that will be offered the chance to sign the highly-rated Portuguese frontman.
However, the sticking point is that Benfica are expecting to recoup a similar fee to the £85m package they landed from Liverpool last summer for Darwin Nunez.
United are looking for a striker but have already shown indications they are not prepared to spend that much on a forward after cooling interest in Harry Kane and Randal Kolo Muani.
Benfica are set to sign Girona striker Taty Castellanos, who scored four goals against Real Madrid in April, as Ramos' replacement.
Manchester City named Ilkay Gundogan on their released list on Friday which could indeed point to the departure of the dependable German midfielder.
City's captain is out of contract at the end of the month and could yet extend his stay but it's now believed he will embark on a new challenge.
Arsenal and Barcelona remain keen while Gundogan is already thought to have rejected his old side Borussia Dortmund and offers from Saudi Arabia.
Bernardo Silva is also wanted by PSG while Kyle Walker looks set to swap the Premier League for the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich.
Aymeric Laporte and Riyad Mahrez are also expected to depart the club this summer.
