Erik ten Hag wants Man Utd to use FA Cup final defeat as motivation
Manchester United have excluded David de Gea from the club's retained list for the 2023/24 season as uncertainty surrounding his future swirls. And the Red Devils have released a statement explaining his absence, with discussions over a new contract continuing ahead of July 1.

U21 player coach Tom Huddlestone is expected to extend his stay at the club, and Mateo Mejia has also been offered a new deal.
However, De Gea is a glaring absence, with just 14 days left until he becomes a free agent upon the expiry of his contract.
And United have explained his exclusion, stating: "Discussions remain open with David De Gea over a potential new contract."
Erik ten Hag reportedly wants to sign a new goalkeeper this summer to add competition for the No 1 shirt.
United are said to be considering a move for Inter Milan's Andre Onana, who has attracted interest from Chelsea.
