Rashford's verdict on Man City treble as Man Utd aim to catch up
Manchester United will return to Chelsea with an improved second bid for Mason Mount after their opening offer was rejected this week, according to reports. However, the Red Devils are prepared to walk away from a deal if they can't reach a compromise below their valuation.

The 24-year-old has won the Champions League and Club World Cup since graduating from Chelsea's academy.
He enjoyed a spell as one of the Premier League's most exciting midfielders in Frank Lampard's first spell and under Thomas Tuchel.
However, Chelsea's disastrous 2022/23 season directly impacted Mount's form, registering just three goals and six assists in 35 games.
His reputation as an established England international will contribute to making Ten Hag believe he can get the best out of him if he moves to Manchester.

The Dutchman reinforced his engine room last summer by recruiting Christian Eriksen on a free transfer and splashing £70million to lure Casemiro from Real Madrid.
But he spent the majority of the transfer window chasing Barcelona's Frenkie de Jong, who didn't fancy switching the Catalunya coast for the Salford Quays shores.
And his desire to add further quality to his midfield has been made clear by United's early assault for Mount.
United have also been credited with an interest in Brighton and Hove Albion's Moises Caicedo and West Ham United captain Declan Rice.
