Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is growing increasingly impatient with Jadon Sancho, according to reports. The England international was left out of the starting XI for Sunday’s Premier League defeat to Newcastle at St James’ Park. And it looks as though his long-term future at the club is up in the air as the Red Devils look to rebuild in the summer transfer window.
Manchester United expected big things from Sancho when they signed the England international from Borussia Dortmund back in the summer transfer window of 2021.
But the 23-year-old has often struggled for consistency and, earlier this season, spent four months out of action as the Red Devils looked to get him back to his best.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Ten Hag is now growing increasingly impatient with Sancho amid his struggles.
The England international was placed on the bench for Sunday’s chastening defeat to Newcastle, with Marcus Rashford and Antony preferred instead.
And though Sancho came on, he was unable to make an impact as his side crashed to defeat.

Eric Bailly will be sold as well, providing he fails to hit the appearance milestone to join Marseille on a permanent basis.
And United are ‘expected to listen to offers’ for Dean Henderson, who has long made it clear he’s unwilling to play second fiddle to David De Gea.
Speaking recently, meanwhile, United legend Paul Parker named Sancho among the players he thinks should leave Old Trafford.
“I would say that 10 players from the current squad need to leave Man United this season,” Parker told Bettors.
“Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay, Donny van de Beek, Anthony Elanga, Wout Weghorst, Anthony Martial, Jadon Sancho and Antony all have to leave the club.

"And then we can always talk about players like Phil Jones, Eric Bailly and so on who don’t have a future at the club but they are quite obvious.
“A lot of the names that I mentioned are obvious because they are not playing and they want to play regularly.”
And Parker recently urged United signing against Ousmane Dembele as a potential Sancho replacement.
“No, I would definitely not want to have Ousmane Dembele at Man Utd,” he explained.

“He is always injured and he hasn’t proved himself at a big club.
“He did well at Dortmund but hasn’t done it at Barcelona yet, so he is not a player that I would want.
“I don’t think he is better than the wingers they already have and that says a lot about him because it isn’t the most difficult thing to be better than Jadon Sancho and Antony.
“He is predictable and I have to say no to him at Man Utd. Wherever he goes, the manager needs to make him into a different animal than what he is now.”
