Chelsea V Man Utd In Pictures
Footage from Manchester United’s draw with Chelsea shows Lisandro Martinez amusingly jumping onto the back of Scott McTominay after Casemiro’s dramatic late leveller. The Red Devils were the better team against the Blues, having more of the ball and managing more shots. And they were able to leave west London with a point to their name after Casemiro struck in the closing stages, just minutes after Jorginho had put the hosts ahead.
Manchester United had gone into the game against Chelsea looking to build on their 2-0 victory over Tottenham in midweek.
And though they were unable to take all three points in west London, the Red Devils put in another strong showing as they claimed a draw at Stamford Bridge.
Jorginho looked to have won the game for Chelsea in the 87th minute, with the Italy international converting a penalty after McTominay committed a foul inside the area.
But Casemiro thundered home a header in stoppage time to rescue a draw, sending the away fans wild in the process.
United have shared a clip of the celebrations afterwards on their official website, with Martinez shown jumping onto McTominay’s back and sharing an embrace with a supporter.

He later referenced the incident on social media, saying: “Mate I don’t know you but we’re in this together, fighting until the end!!!!!”
Fighting is a key word, too.
United lacked it last season as they lurched from one crisis to another under both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick, who were unable to prevent an abysmal campaign.
But Ten Hag, in his first transfer window at the helm, has brought in warriors capable of battling away until the very end.
Martinez is one, with the Argentina international producing another stellar showing and nullifying the threat of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang up top.

"First half Rashford had two big chances, Antony one against one. You have to score goals in such moments because in top games three chances is massive. You have to score.
"We dictated the game and I am happy with that. If you concede a goal late it is difficult.
"Eight minutes before half time we had some troubles but defence in the second half we didn't have troubles. The second half we didn't really create big chances, but also Chelsea didn't.
"I think it is a fair result. I would have been disappointed if we had gone without a point because we didn't deserve that. At the end of a tough week to come here, you bring the point home."
Chelsea boss Graham Potter, meanwhile, said: "Lots of positives in terms of the amount of effort the boys put into the game.

“Manchester United were better than us for the first 30 minutes and we had to respond and I felt we did that.
"It wasn't from a lack of trying. The boys gave everything, when you score as late as you do there is a feeling you've dropped points but over the course of the game a point is probably about right.
"When we scored, because of how hard fought it has been it is hard to control things going into the box. We have to accept the point and dust ourselves down to go again on Tuesday.
"I can't stand here and say we deserved to win. The two teams had a go and a point is about right."
