The midfielder’s future is currently up in the air, with his contract due to expire at the end of the campaign. However, he’s significantly happier under Ralf Rangnick.

Pep Guardiola dropped that bombshell back in 2018, with the United midfielder on the fringes of the action under Mourinho at the time.
He’s also previously been linked with Chelsea, though that was when Antonio Conte was manager. What Thomas Tuchel’s stance would be is currently unclear.
There are clubs abroad who will be eyeing Pogba, however.
Real Madrid have longstanding interest, though Kylian Mbappe appears to be their priority transfer target at the current moment in time.
PSG are also in the mix, while Juventus and Barcelona have also been linked as well.

Meanwhile, speaking recently, former Premier League hitman Darren Bent urged Pogba to join Chelsea to play alongside N’Golo Kante.
He said: “When Paul Pogba plays alongside Kante, he looks a completely different player!
“If they were to go and sign him, Chelsea, wow, that midfield three. But again, he doesn’t really score enough goals.”
When asked if he would get more time on the ball if he played in midfield for Chelsea alongside Kante, he responded: “Yeah, he would.”
Rangnick recently admitted that Pogba may be motivated by the prospect of impressing his potential suitors.

“But there is a difference in how players deal with their current situation.
“If they handle that in a professional way, an ambitious way, I will play players although they have a contract expiring in the summer.”
