Barcelona are expected to sell both Luuk de Jong and Memphis Depay according to AS, with Alvaro Morata poised to join.
The Catalan giants are set to bring in the Spaniard from Atletico Madrid to be their new No 9.
De Jong is set to depart this month, the report states, with Depay likely to leave in the summer.
The Dutchman only joined on a free in the summer but signed just a two-year deal, and will be sold at a profit rather than being allowed to leave for free in 2023.
Trippier is thought to have received a contract offer from Newcastle that is too good to say no to despite their current plight.
Sources were unable to confirm to Express Sport whether the potential deal includes an escape clause that would allow Trippier to leave Newcastle this summer if they are relegated to the Championship.

Newcastle have been urged against signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal this month by Tony Cascarino.
The former Chelsea man told talkSPORT: "Do you want a player who is going to show commitment, running, doing all the ugly stuff in the game that you're going to need to survive?"
"Does he do that very well? I'd say that's the worst part of his game.
"Is he a quality footballer that can turn a game in a moment? At his best, yes. But when has he last done that regularly? Not very often this season, even towards the end of last season.
"I don't see this deal being a good one for Newcastle at all."
Ferran Torres has spoken out on becoming a Barcelona player after leaving Manchester City to head to the Nou Camp.
The Spaniard insists it is a "dream" to play for the Catalan heavyweights.
He said: "I'm very happy to be here. When Xavi contacted me, I wanted to come to Barca even more. It is a dream come true to be at Barca.
"I went to City to come back one day to a big club in Spain and as soon as Barca called me I didn’t think twice. It's a great challenge.
"City are one of the best. I'm ambitious and it's a challenge to get Barca back to where it deserves to be.
"We're very young and have a lot of room to learn. I'm looking forward to playing with my team-mates."
