Liverpool ran out 4-0 winners in a complete performance against Arsenal on Saturday evening to propel the Reds to second in the Premier League table. It took the Anfield side a while to get going, but the crowd's intensity after Jurgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta's furious exchange ultimately helped proceedings - and Klopp has detailed what happened on the touchline.
Liverpool were kept out by an inspired Aaron Ramsdale performance after the England international kept out Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane in the early stages.
Liverpool's home crowd were willing their side on to get the opener in a boisterous atmosphere.
And emotions rose after an incident between Takehiro Tomiyasu and Sadio Mane on the touchline after the duo rose for a challenge, which left Arsenal staff incensed following the boisterous nature of Mane's challenge.
Klopp vented his frustrations at the Arsenal bench for their perceived overreaction to the incident, leaving Arteta having to be held back by his team.
And the German has detailed just exactly what happened on the touchline.

"It was about the situation that it was no foul from Sadio [Mane] but the Arsenal bench went up like it was a red card. I asked what they want in that situation," Klopp said.
"We had to take Sadio off against Atletico [Madrid in the Champions League] because they wanted him to get a yellow card. The referee did really well in that situation - I deserved a yellow card.
"It wasn't not OK and that is what I said. It just happened in the moment."
The pair recieved a yellow card apiece for their actions.

But Klopp will not care one bit after his side ran out 4-0 winners on Merseyside.
The win lifts them to within four points of league leaders Chelsea.
And the ex-Dortmund boss was thrilled with the manner of the win.
"All the games are opportunities for us. It was an exceptional performance. We grew into the game, we got better and better," Klopp continued.
