Spurs and West Ham managers react to Hammers' 1-0 win
Newcastle are not the only Premier League club who will receive a major boost to their transfer funds in January. West Ham are also set to receive a major cash injection as Czech-based billionaire Daniel Kretinsky reportedly edges closer to acquiring a 27 per cent stake in the club.
Kretinsky, who owns large stakes in Royal Mail and J Sainsbury, is understood to be in advanced talks over purchase of shares in the Hammers that could see him eventually take full control.
It is thought that the deal will see the Premier League side valued at between £600million and £700million.
If Kretinsky does indeed decide to invest in the Hammers, it will give David Moyes a major boost to his transfer warchest.
The 46-year-old is already the owner of Sparta Prague in his homeland, who currently lie third in the Czech First League.
Similarly, West Ham are fourth in the English top-flight and here Daily Express Sport looks at five players they could bring in to boost their squad with Kretinsky’s cash injection…

Jesse Lingard
A rather obvious target following his highly successful loan spell at the London Stadium in the second-half of last season is Jesse Lingard.
Lingard is unlikely to sign a new contract with Manchester United, who will look to sell him in January to recoup some form of fee.
West Ham were linked with a move for the Englishman in January, but United’s demands proved to be too high, something that will not be a problem after Kretinsky’s investment.
Adam Hlozek
West Ham could follow in the footsteps of Watford to sign Adam Hlozek from Kretinsky’s other club Sparta Prague.
The highly-rated 19-year-old has scored four goals and notched seven assists in all competitions so far this season.
The Hammers were linked with a move for him during Euro 2020 and could reignite their interest to boost David Moyes’ attacking options.

Kretinsky’s investment could help West Ham to challenge Premier League rivals such as Arsenal for signings, including that of Andrea Belotti.
Belotti is out of contract at Torino at the end of this season and is thought to be ready to challenge himself elsewhere.
The 27-year-old has spent much of this season out injured, but did score 13 goals in Serie A last term, as well as playing in all but one game as Italy won Euro 2020.
Jordan Larsson
Statement signings tend to follow big investment and one such move could be to bring in the son of former Manchester United and Celtic striker Henrik Larsson.
Like his father Jordan Larsson is also a forward, scoring 26 goals since he joined Spartak Moscow in 2019.
