Johnson, who the League Cup during his six-year stay with the Reds, believes that Klopp is the perfect manager to get the best out of the duo.
“I’d love to see (Erling) Haaland and (Jude) Bellingham at Liverpool. They are two young guys who are built for the Premier League and for a club like Liverpool,” he told William Hill.
“They could develop over the years under a manager like Jurgen Klopp and I could see them becoming massive names in football for a long, long time.
“There’ll be competition from other clubs across Europe for sure, but I think it’d be appealing to come to Anfield, challenge for trophies and work under a top-class manager like Klopp.”

Like Haaland, Bellingham has also developed a reputation for being one of the brightest stars in his position.
Despite being just 18, the England international has become a crucial part of Dortmund’s midfield, winning the DFB-Pokal last season.
He has started this campaign in stunning form, scoring three goals and notching six assists, helping them to emerge as Bayern Munich’s closest challengers for the Bundesliga title.
But Bellingham will also command a hefty fee, though Liverpool have also made their interest in the midfielder clear.
