Man Utd: What could tempt Haaland to Old Trafford?
Manchester United, as things stand, have a sublime squad of attacking talent. So it’s pretty scary to think of them having Erling Haaland, too, with the Borussia Dortmund striker their main target for next summer. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and John Murtough are both on the same page when it comes to the Norway international.

Last season, that tally was even higher. This time he bagged 27 goals from 28 matches, only being outscored by Robert Lewandowski.
And while United have a plethora of options, Solskjaer and Murtough both feel Haaland can be an Old Trafford hit.
After all, why wouldn’t he be?

Speaking recently, Gary Neville predicted three players would leave to make room for Haaland.
“No,” he said when asked if Ronaldo’s return meant a move for Haaland was off the table.
“No I think Manchester United next year will lose probably Martial, they’ll lose Mata, Cavani will leave because they got another year out of him.

“So it will free places to be filled.
“If Haaland becomes available next summer and they want to do a deal with his agent – which is the big thing with Haaland – then Manchester United should go for him.
“And I don’t think Cristiano coming prevents Haaland joining.”
And he added: “Well Cristiano has played with Benzema, with Bale, with all these great Galacticos at Real Madrid.
“He [Solskjaer] wouldn’t put him on the bench, why would you put him on the bench? You can fit two strikers in a team, surely?”
