Manchester United will never win the Premier League title whilst Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists on playing Fred and Scott McTominay, according to Darren Bent. Abdoulaye Doucoure and Allan outclassed the midfield duo as Everton held United to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Adidas and Manchester United have launched their official 2021/22 home jersey, putting a modern twist on their classic club styles.
United's midfield flaws were exposed again at the weekend as Solskjaer watched his side drop points at home for the second successive Premier League game.
Anthony Martial's first-half opener wasn't enough, as the hosts were ripped apart on the counter-attack for Andros Townsend's equaliser.
Solskjaer's reluctance to move away from his preferred 4-2-3-1 formation, despite a blatant lack of quality in defensive midfield, has raised mass questioning this season.
Nemanja Matic and Fred are the Norwegian boss' only natural holding midfielders, whilst McTominay, Paul Pogba, and Donny van de Beek are more suited to a 4-3-3.

Speaking after United's draw against a weakened Everton team at the weekend, ex-Premier League star Bent listed the positives of Solskjaer's starting line-up.
But he stressed that Solskjaer won't restore the Red Devils' Premier League dominance if he continues to select Fred and McTominay together.
He told talkSPORT: "When you look at his team he played yesterday, I like [Edinson] Cavani; he still looks super sharp, hungry.
"Martial scored a very good goal; his form has been indifferent. [Bruno] Fernandes, we know [his capabilities]. [Mason] Greenwood, OK.

With Marcus Rashford back in training, he could make his return to action when United travel to Leicester City after the international break.
It would mean Solskjaer can push Pogba back into midfield, ending the 'McFred' partnership.
The period between the current break and the upcoming break in November could be the most important of Solskjaer's tenure.
He's under increased pressure to turn United's form around, and regularly using Pogba in midfield along with Rashford's return could go a long way in helping that happen.
