Liverpool had a woeful season to forget, though getting a Champions League spot may well have saved a few more blushes after suffering an injury crisis in their defence but Jurgen Klopp will be hoping his side do not suffer a similar crisis this season.
United fans may be surprised to learn that last year's runners-up Manchester United are 13/2 and behind on Champions League winners Chelsea. Ole Gunnar Solksjaer's side finished 12 points behind their city rivals but suffered the same number of defeats - six.
Meanwhile, overachievers West Ham United have been priced at 6/1 to finish in the top six again while Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United at 9/2 for a place in European spot.
Down at the bottom and all three newly-promoted sides are tipped for the bottom with Norwich City the favourites at 9/10, Watford are evens and Brentford are 11/10.
