Tottenham: Lengthy contract could cause Kane issues
Tottenham have reportedly offered Antonio Conte a massive contract which would make him the second highest-paid manager in the Premier League. Ryan Mason has been in temporary charge of Tottenham ever since Jose Mourinho was sacked in April.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy decided to give Mason the job until the end of the season and take his time in finding the club's next permanent boss.
Tottenham secured European football for next season in their final game of the campaign, beating Leicester 4-2 to book their place in the inaugural Europa Conference League.
The search is now on for Tottenham's next manager with a host of names being linked with the vacant post.
Graham Potter, Scott Parker and Brendan Rodgers have all been linked with the Tottenham job.
It is claimed that Spurs are ready to pay Conte £17million-a-year, which would be even more than Mourinho was earning at the north London club.
Only Pep Guardiola's contract is worth more than the proposed offer Conte has on the table at Tottenham.
And Levy is also said to have promised Conte that there will be money to spend this summer on new recruits.
The report adds that the 51-year-old is interested in the prospect of helping Tottenham climb back up the Premier League.

Inter already have a replacement lined up should Conte leave with Simone Inzaghi said to be the club's first choice.
If Conte does take over at Tottenham, Levy will no doubt be hoping he can repeat his heroics from his time at Chelsea.
The often-animated coach took over at Stamford Bridge after Chelsea had finished 10th the season before.
He made some drastic changes to the system at Chelsea, choosing to play three at the back, and it ultimately led the Blues to their second Premier League title in three years.
