Man Utd: Solskjaer sends message to fans before protest
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly made it clear that Manchester United have no intention of selling Donny van de Beek this summer. The Dutchman has endured a difficult first season in English football, with opportunities difficult to come by.
In total, Van de Beek has played just 326 minutes in the Premier League and hasn’t started a game in 2021.
That has led to some speculation about his future, with Netherlands manager Frank De Boer confirming the player isn’t happy with his current situation.
“He's just focusing on his recovery on his ankle, and it's not true that he asked Man Utd to leave,” De Boer told talkSPORT.
“His agent also told me that of course he's not happy that he's not playing. He's only had two starts under Solskjaer and that's not what he hoped for when he joined Man Utd.
