Liverpool were one of six Premier League teams to withdraw from Perez's ill-fated European Super League this week.
Perez was fronting the league, which could have had drastic consequences for the domestic and European football landscape.
But just 48 hours after it was announced, the project was all-but scrapped after Liverpool and the other five English teams pulled out - joined by the likes of Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid.
And it seems Perez didn't take too kindly to that and still holds a grudge against the Premier League champions.

Speaking during an explosive interview on Wednesday night, Perez couldn't resist taking a quick shot at Liverpool.
He referenced Klopp's comments after Liverpool's defeat against Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Klopp appeared to blame Madrid's Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano for the Reds' 3-1 defeat in the first leg.
And in response, Perez joked about the 2018 Champions League final, which ended in the same scoreline.

Henry even took time to apologise directly to Klopp, who was forced to bite his tongue when asked about the idea on Monday night.
He said: "It goes without saying but should be said that the project put forward was never going to stand without the support of the fans.
"No-one ever thought differently in England. Over these 48 hours, you were very clear that it would not stand. We heard you. I heard you.
"And I want to apologise to Jurgen [Klopp], to Billy [Hogan, chief executive], to the players, and to everyone who works so hard at LFC to make our fans proud."
