Liverpool: Klopp hails Salah after win at West Ham
Liverpool target Ozan Kabak wants £80,000-a-week in order to move to Anfield, according to reports. Jurgen Klopp is trying to sign the Schalke star on transfer deadline day as he looks to solve his side’s defensive woes. And Kabak and Ben Davies could both be on the move to Anfield today.

And, now, the Reds are poised to sign Davies - and potentially Kabak - before the transfer window slams shut.
Klopp refused to comment on Davies after his side’s 3-1 win over West Ham on Sunday, saying: “I say it all the time, in our situation it makes sense [to sign a centre-back].
“[But] Nat Phillips played a decent game, James Milner shouted at Hendo ‘you better be careful, because if you keep playing like this, you’ll be centre-back for the rest of your career’.
“Our eyes are always open, and we try to fix our situation. If we can do it, I don’t know. If not, we play like tonight.
“If it’s not a problem, it’s only a problem if something else happens – then we become a little bit short, that’s true.”

The Liverpool boss also hailed Mohamed Salah after the Egypt international scored twice against the Hammers to give the Reds all three precious points.
It was the forward’s first goal in the top flight since December.
And Klopp said: “And actually he scored a goal against Tottenham; it didn’t count, I know that, but it was a brilliant goal. He had nothing to do with it because it didn’t count, it was handball in the build-up, but the goal was brilliant – and even that, for sure, was a good sign for him that a couple of things are clicking again.
“Tonight he played a super game.
“He was really in the game, he was really involved, he was flexible and all these kind of things.

“He kept the ball, passing was good, in the end with the controlling of the game he was really good.
“The first goal is just a super smart goal. I didn’t see it back, but from my perspective I think Fabianski couldn’t see the ball really because the box was full and he chipped it into the far corner.
“The second goal, what a counter-attack – two passes until Mo got the ball.
“The last pass was obviously spectacular from Shaq, the first touch from Mo outstanding, outstanding, world-class and then nice finish. Top game, top goals.”
