Man Utd: Solskjaer confident forwards can be match for all
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has decided to grant Jesse Lingard’s wish of a loan move away, reports claim. The England international has struggled over the past 18 months, with injury and inconsistency preventing him from kicking on. Newcastle, West Ham, Tottenham and Nice have all been linked with the playmaker, who was a vital player during the Jose Mourinho and Louis Van Gaal eras.

And ESPN say Solskjaer has now decided to let Lingard go out on loan, believing that could be the ticket to the 28-year-old turning his faltering career around.
The Norwegian had wanted to keep the England star at the club.
But with Lingard behind Paul Pogba, Donny van de Beek and Bruno Fernandes in the pecking order, a temporary parting of the ways is now on the cards.
Clubs from overseas are interested in signing the United star.
But his preference is to remain in the Premier League, in news that will put Newcastle, Tottenham, West ham, Sheffield United and West Brom on red alert.

"It shows that, for the moment, Ole does not trust him enough to play him and honestly he doesn’t have anywhere to play in the team right now.
"So when you’ve been so long in one team and, coming to 28 [years old], you have to look back and say, 'Did I achieve enough? Am I happy with what I’ve done here? Is my time up?'
"So I think he need to move, he needs to go somewhere else to play."
Solskjaer kept his cards close to his chest when asked about Lingard recently.

"Of course we have not seen the best of Jesse, we've not seen a lot of Jesse this season, for different reasons.
"He has got a year and a half left on his contract, I speak to Jesse more or less every day so our communication is really good.
