Man Utd: Solskjaer praises Henderson after Luton Town win
Manchester United face West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday night. And it’s been claimed that Dean Henderson is in line to start the showdown, having replaced David De Gea during the 3-2 win over Southampton last weekend. The Red Devils are seeking a swift return to winning ways after losing 3-1 to PSG in the Champions League in midweek.
United have won their last three league matches against Everton, West Brom and Southampton respectively.
And they’ll be out to end their torrid run against David Moyes’ flying West Ham side, with the Red Devils winning just once away at the Hammers in the years since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement.
United should go strong for the contest, despite having a crunch Champions League tie with RB Leipzig lying in wait for next week.
And the Manchester Evening News say there are ‘early whispers’ Henderson will get the nod between the sticks for the match.
The England international impressed last week after coming on against Southampton and, now, is set for some action.

It’s claimed Henderson thought he was in line to play against Istanbul Basaksehir last week, but De Gea was selected instead.
And there was ‘genuine disbelief’ that he didn’t get thrown into the mix for the victory over West Brom, where Bruno Fernandes’ penalty gave them all three points.
Henderson kept 13 clean sheets for Sheffield United last term, the same amount Alisson Becker managed as Liverpool won the title.
Only Ederson and Nick Pope, of Manchester City and Burnley respectively, managed more.
Michael Owen recently expressed a belief that now was Henderson’s time to shine, telling Premier League TV: “If you are thinking about changing the goalkeeper, this is the time.
“If you go 30 or 40 games back, I think we're one of the most consistent teams performance-wise in the Premier League.
"Of course, you're disappointed when you lose a game. I thought we played really well on Wednesday and it's fine margins at times that decide games.
"The performance against PSG was miles better than the West Brom match, but you win the game against West Brom and don't get the three points against PSG.
"I think we're getting less bad performances and getting more and more consistent. You can never control the result in the end, that's decided by fine margins."
