Kai Havertz ‘agreed personal terms’ with Chelsea hints pundit
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard still has business to do in this transfer window and he is reportedly interested in Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero because of his doubts over Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Arrizabalaga has had a turbulent two years at Stamford Bridge after becoming the club's record signing for £71.6million.
The former Athletic Bilbao keeper was dropped midway through last season after a series of mistakes.
He was reinstated for the final run-in but dropped to the bench for the decisive final-day win over Wolves and FA Cup final defeat to Arsenal.
Willy Caballero was preferred for those two fixtures, along with the Champions League last-16 defeat against Bayern Munich.
However, the 38-year-old is not expected to be the long-term solution to Lampard's Arrizabala problem.

A new shot stopper is being searched for this summer and United's Romero is a possible option, according to the Athletic.
The Argentine was the understudy for David De Gea last season but Dean Henderson has returned from his loan spell with Sheffield United to challenge for the No 1 spot.
It was thought that Henderson may be loaned out again but he penned a new five-year contract last month and vowed to fight for his place with the Red Devils.
That means Romero will drop down the pecking order to third choice.
