Bayern Munich got the better of PSG in a closely-fought Champions League final in Lisbon. Kingsley Coman’s header in the 59th minute was enough to edge out the French side.

The club then defended the trophy in the following two seasons, becoming just the third team to win the competition in three consecutive years.
Bayern, though, wouldn’t get their hands on the trophy again until the 2000/01 tournament, beating Valencia in a penalty shootout.
In the 2012/13 season, Bayern got the better of Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund in the final, winning 2–1 to lift the trophy for the fifth time.
Bayern’s sixth Champions League crown was achieved by winning every game in this year’s competition, making them the first club in history to do so.
Match-winner Coman, who came through the PSG academy, said: "It's extraordinary, it's great happiness.
"But there is a little sadness for Paris. They have had an extraordinary journey, we must respect what Paris has done.
"We tried to put them under a lot of pressure. They played on the counter-attack.
"We didn't concede a goal, that's the most important thing.
"Paris had a great game, so did we. It was a great final."
