Jadon Sancho parties in UK with rappers Krept and Konan
Erling Haaland has given his verdict on Borussia Dortmund's decision to keep Manchester United transfer target Jadon Sancho at the club. Sancho has been United's No 1 transfer target this summer with the club holding negotiations with Dortmund.
Personal terms had reportedly already been agreed but United had been refusing to pay Dortmund's £108million asking price.
There had been suggestions Dortmund would be prepared to accept a smaller fee up front with the rest made up of achievable add-ons and instalments.
But the Bundesliga side gave United a deadline of August 10, when they were set to fly out to Switzerland for their pre-season training camp in Switzerland.
The Red Devils had reportedly seen that deadline as nothing but a negotiating tactic from Dortmund.
United are expected to try and test the German side's resolve still, but it appears even the Dortmund players are preparing to play alongside Sancho next season.
Haaland and Sancho struck up and immediate partnership when the former signed in January with the pair scoring 21 goals and providing 10 assists between them in the final 17 games of the season.
And when asked whether he was happy that Dortmund had confirmed Sancho will stay at the club, Haaland said: "I'm happy, yeah."
Another player who Haaland is clearly excited to link up with at Dortmund in the near future is Youssoufa Moukoko.
The 15-year-old has been training with Dortmund's first team since January.
