Sir Alex Ferguson 'forgives' Jurgen Klopp for late call on Liverpool's title-winning night

Manchester United legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed Jurgen Klopp called him at 3:30am after Liverpool were announced as Premier League champions for the first time in the club's history. Liverpool capped off a record-breaking season on the final day of the campaign with a 3-1 win over Newcastle.
It was Liverpool's 32nd win of the season as they lifted their first top flight title in 30 years.
And Klopp's achievements in breaking Liverpool's long wait for a title has seen him named the League Managers Association Manager of the Year.
Liverpool have been by far and away the best team in the Premier League this season.
After taking the fight to Manchester City until the final day of the season last year, Klopp's side continued that momentum into this campaign with their rivals struggling to keep up.

By the New Year, Liverpool already held a 13-point lead over nearest rivals Leicester and at one point they were 25 points clear of City.
Liverpool players maintained the title wasn't won until it was mathematically confirmed.
That moment came at the end of June when Chelsea beat City 2-1, with the Liverpool staff and players pictured celebrating wildly at the final result.
Klopp was among those celebrating into the early hours of the morning.

And Sir Alex has revealed he received a surprise late night call from Klopp on the night they were crowned champions.
Speaking as Klopp was named LMA Manager of the Year, Ferguson said: "I speak about Leeds United waiting 16 years; Liverpool 30 years since winning that league - incredible.
"It was thoroughly deserved.
"The performance level of your team was outstanding.
"You're personality goes right through the whole club. It was a marvellous performance.
"I'll forgive you for waking me up at half-past 3 in the morning to tell me you'd won the league, thank you.
"Anyway, you've thoroughly deserved it. Well done."
Chelsea women's boss, Emma Hayes, was named FA Women's Super League manager of the year while Marcelo Bielsa won the Championship award.
