Chelsea is ‘best option’ for Jadon Sancho claims pundit
Chelsea have decided to abandon their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho, according to reports. The Borussia Dortmund star has been backed to join the Blues despite Manchester United long being frontrunners in the race to secure his signature. However, it appears Frank Lampard’s side won’t be bringing the 21-year-old to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Chelsea are back in the Champions League after beating Wolves to finish fourth in the Premier League table.
They’ve also got their transfer business off to a fruitful start, securing the arrivals of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner from Ajax and RB Leipzig respectively.
Kai Havertz is currently their priority target but they’ve been linked with Sancho, too, amid uncertainty over the winger’s Dortmund future.
Yet ESPN say the Blues have given up on Sancho and won’t be bringing the 20-year-old to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Havertz is very much the chosen one for the time being.

"It would make us better as well, but the ones that have come through, the Billy Gilmours, Tammy, Mason, Reece [James], it's endless isnt it? There have been so many positives this season.
"So I think every Chelsea fan, since I came through the ranks, that's all Chelsea fans wanted to see: the youth team players and the younger generation coming through and making their first team debuts. We've seen that in abundance this year."
