Liverpool ready to accept £6m transfer bid as Jurgen Klopp green lights summer exit
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has no plans to keep Loris Karius for next season.
Liverpool: Loris Karius trains with Besiktas while on loan
Liverpool are reportedly willing to accept a £6million fee for Loris Karius, with Montpellier emerging as the front-runners for his signature. Karius hasn't played for Liverpool since his horror show in the 2018 Champions League final.
He was soon shipped out on loan to Besiktas where he earned mixed reviews in his 67 appearances.
There was an agreement in place to make his loan move permanent by this summer but a long-running dispute with Besiktas over unpaid wages eventually led to Karius terminating his contract in May.
The 27-year-old has since opted to return to Germany as opposed to going back to Merseyside to train at Melwood.
Liverpool quickly moved on from Karius with Alisson coming in as his replacement in 2018.

The Brazilian has established himself as one of the world's best goalkeepers and played a key role in Liverpool winning last year's Champions League and the Premier League this season.
Adrian was also brought in as the back-up option last summer, further dropping Karius down the pecking order.
The 33-year-old has one year remaining on his contract at Anfield with an option for a third.
And Liverpool seemingly have no plans to let Karius fight for his place back at the club looking ahead to next season.

Premier League prize money: How much do Liverpool win as champions?
According to Goal, Liverpool want to sell Karius this summer and value the goalkeeper at just £6m.
Given the tough situation Karius faced at Besiktas, a permanent move to the Turkish side looks unlikely.
But it is claimed Montepllier have emerged as favourites to make a move for the German shot-stopper.
The report also adds Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin have enquired about a possible move.
However, Karius has made it clear that he will only join a club where he is guaranteed regular first-team football.
"I will have to be playing if I actually change clubs,” he told Transfermarkt recently.
“It makes no sense to say I'm leaving Liverpool for a worse club and I'm only the number two there.
“I'm not in a pressured situation at all, I don't have to change - as the second goalkeeper in England you know that you get chances.
“I am currently at the best club in the world, who are competing for titles, and I have the highest level around me every day in training.
“I am fully aware that I am in a good position to be at Liverpool. I have great conditions there."
