Man Utd: Solskjaer says team are ‘always looking to improve’
Thiago could reportedly join Manchester United, despite strong whispers that the midfielder is heading to Liverpool. The Bayern Munich star will leave the Allianz Arena this summer after failing to agree a new contract.

“He is a top boy on and off the pitch,” Rummenigge told Bild.
“We had serious negotiations with him and fulfilled all of his wishes. But it looks like he might want to do something new again at the end of his career.
“We have never had any contact with Liverpool. If he wants to do that, we have to deal with it.
“We don’t want to lose a player for free next year. I say that very clearly.”

Now in a surprising twist, Bild claim that Thiago could actually end up at Manchester United.
There was talk in the Bayern dressing room that Thiago was heading to Anfield but now it looks like the Reds have competition.
Ed Woodward has taken out a loan of £140million to help United land their top targets.
This is not the first time that United have been linked with a move for Thiago.

In fact, he came close to moving to Old Trafford in the summer of 2013 during David Moyes' time at the club.
Guillem Balague recently shed light on the ordeal which eventually saw Thiago join Bayern.
"He asked his agent (Pep’s brother) to get him a transfer from Barcelona to #MUFC. It was a cheap deal: Bayern eventually paid €21.7m as FCB didn’t play him more than 60% of the minutes the previous season," Balague said on Twitter.
"If they had, he would have cost €90m (FCB forgot about that clause?). David Moyes decided he was not a player for him at United.
"Thiago could not believe it and being in Munich to sign the contract to join Pep’s team, asked his agent to ring MUFC again. Same answer, not a player needed. Then he decided to join Bayern."
