Kieran Tierney completes drills during Arsenal training
Danny Rose has admitted he feels "very sorry" for Kieran Tierney because the Scotland international's debut season at Arsenal has been wrecked by injury.
The Scotland international joined the Gunners from Celtic in a £25million deal last summer but he has been limited to 11 appearances in all competitions due to two separate fitness problems.
He had to wait until the end of September to make his debut because of a long-term hip injury sustained at his former club.
Tierney began to establish himself in the first team only to suffer a dislocated shoulder in December's Premier League win at West Ham.
Speaking about his left-back rival, Tottenham Hotspur ace Rose, who joined Newcastle United on loan in January, said: "I tried to watch the Celtic games in the Champions League when they were on the television.

"I watch him play football and in every game he gives the same commitment," he told The Lockdown Tactics.
"His consistency levels are extremely high. He is just brilliant. We played Hull four or five years ago at White Hart Lane and Robertson was playing for Hull, as was Harry Maguire.
"I wouldn’t have noticed Robertson at that time, if I’m being honest, but he then moved to Liverpool and he has been the best left-back for them.
"He’s been the best left-back in England and, maybe, Europe for the past two years.
"For me, now, he is the one I’m looking to catch, without a doubt. He is the best."
