Liverpool: Sadio Mane to Madrid 'makes sense' says pundit
Liverpool star Sadio Mane is eyeing a move to Real Madrid, with the Anfield winger unhappy with Jurgen Klopp. The Reds star has been instrumental under Klopp. Mane was the joint winner of the Premier League Golden Boot last season. The attacker's fine form continued this season, with Mane netting 16 goals and chipping in with eight assists in all competitions for Liverpool.
"He is a smart boy and he knows what is good for him and what he has to do.
"But in Madrid they are giving out many names."
Despite Balde's claims, Liverpool legend John Aldridge believes Mane's former team-mate Philippe Coutinho has shown it doesn't always work out to head to La Liga's best sides.
"Not all who leave Liverpool go on to struggle. Look at Raheem Sterling at Manchester City," Aldridge told the Liverpool Echo.
"But Philippe Coutinho is a great example in recent times of where it can go wrong. He was at the pinnacle of his career when he left Liverpool for Barcelona, but it has all since fallen somewhat flat."
