Man Utd: Rashford says Man City are ‘lucky’ to have Guardiola
Manchester United legend Paul Scholes still believes Marcus Rashford can shine as a centre-forward. Rashford has been in electric form this season, scoring 19 goals despite spending much of his time on the left wing. And Scholes thinks the England international still has what it takes in order to be a centre-forward.
Manchester United star Rashford burst on the scene as a striker in February 2016.
He got into the side after an injury to Anthony Martial and the player, who was a teenager at the time, scored twice on his debut in a 5-1 win over FC Midtjylland at Old Trafford.
Rashford scored eight goals from 18 games under Van Gaal but, when Jose Mourinho was appointed, was transformed into a winger.
He’s hopped between the two positions throughout his short, but successful, career to date.
And despite scoring 19 goals from the left wing, United hero Scholes believes the 22-year-old still has what it takes to shine up top.
