Man Utd: Sancho would be 'perfect' at club says expert
Manchester United are likelier to sign Jadon Sancho than Harry Kane or Matthijs de Ligt this summer, reports say. The Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham and Juventus stars have all been linked with moves to Old Trafford amid Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s determination to win the Premier League title next season. Sancho won’t come cheap, though, with Dortmund expected to demand big money in order to let him go.
Manchester United have backed Solskjaer on transfers ever since he replaced Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford as permanent boss last year.
In the summer the Red Devils spent big on Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, while also snapping up Daniel James from Swansea.
And, in January, United forked out £46million on Bruno Fernandes and also brought in Odion Ighalo on loan from Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua.
Now, the Red Devils are set to go even bigger as Solskjaer targets a shot at Premier League title glory next season.
And, of De Ligt, Kane and Sancho, it’s the latter who the Manchester Evening News say is likeliest to make the move to Old Trafford.
The Dortmund star has been sensational this season, being directly involved in 29 goals from just 23 league appearances.

The Spurs hitman fuelled talk of a move away recently by saying on his own personal Instagram: “I’ve always said if I don’t feel we are progressing as a team or going in the right direction, I’m not one to stay there for the sake of it.
“I’m an ambitious player. I want to improve, get better and become one of the top, top players.
“It all depends on what happens as a team and how we progress as a team.”
But Tottenham would loathe to sell to United and Sancho, it seems, is likeliest to be the Red Devils’ marquee summer signing.
Whether that happens, though, is something only time will tell.
