Football leagues and competitions all over the world have been suspended due to the coronavirus crisis. The COVID-19 virus, which originated in China, has spread across the globe with more than two million confirmed cases and over 180,000 deaths.

As a result, several professional footballers have also contacted the virus.
One of the latest stars to become infected is former Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
Now at Chinese club Shandong Luneng, he wrote on Twitter: "Dear friends, I have been tested for coronavirus and my test result is positive.
"Thanks to the fans, medical staff and the club for their care and attention. I will follow the treatment and hope to return to the game as soon as possible. Please everyone stay safe."
