Liverpool fans fume at Karren Brady after West Ham chief calls for season to be void
West Ham co-owner Karren Brady has risked the wrath of Liverpool fans after her comments calling for the current Premier League campaign to be null and void.
Coronavirus: Premier League matches suspended until April
Liverpool fans have flooded social media with furious responses to Karren Brady's remarks calling for the Premier League to "declare the whole season null and void". Liverpool have looked like champions-elect for several months now and could have won the title next week had the season not been suspended due to fears surrounding coronavirus.
Instead, the Premier League have decided to suspended all matches before April 3 with some speculation that the suspension may last even longer.
The world of football is entering an unknown territory with the current pandemic calling a halt to most sporting events across the globe.
There is some hope about the season still going ahead in the near future, but when that will be isn't so clear right now.
Liverpool fans arguably more than most are desperate for the season to be restarted so they can pick up the six points they need to win a first top flight title in three decades.

Reds fans have waited a long time to see they're team lift the coveted Premier League title and they have looked far and away the best team this season.
They hold an impressive 25-point lead over Manchester City with just nine games remaining and could clinch the title at the Etihad with a win if the season resumes next month.
But West Ham chief Brady has angered Liverpool fans worldwide after she called for the current season to be scrapped altogether if it can't be finished.
"As games in both the PL and in the EFL are affected, the only fair and reasonable thing to do is declare the whole season null and void," she wrote in The Sun.
West Ham have been battling to stay out of the relegation zone in recent weeks and currently only goal difference has them clear of the drop.
And Liverpool supporters have reacted furiously to Brady's request, with some pointing out whether her position would be different if she held a senior role at Anfield.
One fan fumed: "@karren_brady is the definition of HYPOCRITE...#pl #LFC"
Another tweeted: "CONFIRMED: Brady doesn’t like Liverpool FC"
