Kalvin Phillips is 'an exceptional talent' says pundit
Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips loves the club, and isn’t focused on speculation surrounding his future, according to Michael Brown. Phillips has been linked with moves to Manchester United, Wolves and Tottenham in recent months, after continuing to impress for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Phillips has drawn plaudits this season, and has been tipped to earn his first England call-up.
But, the 24-year-old’s rise to one of the Championship’s best players has also meant that a number of clubs are interested in recruiting the defensive midfielder.
Man United had sent scouts to watch Phillips earlier this season. They returned with glowing reports of the Leeds star, leading executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to consider a move for him.
Wolves are also reportedly plotting a move for Phillips, and are willing to trigger his £20million+ release clause at the end of the season.

“You can just see what it means to the club and the team, and it’s great to have him back in the team.”
Phillips missed the 1-0 win against Middlesbrough at the end of last month, after picking up a knock against Reading.
He also served a three-game ban earlier in the month, after being sent off against Queens Park Rangers.
Brown claimed that Phillips has all of the capabilities to play at the highest level, and Biela’s influence on the midfielder has been incalculable.
