Leicester have offered Adam Lallana the chance to join them on a free transfer at the end of the season, according to Sky Sports. The midfielder is out of contract in the summer and is therefore free to speak with other clubs about a potential move this summer. It now looks like he could be set to reunite with former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers at the King Power Stadium.
Rodgers was the man who brought Lallana to Merseyside, when he joined the club from Southampton in the summer of 2014.
Unfortunately for the 31-year-old his time at Anfield will, unfortunately, be remembered largely for his injury troubles despite playing a part in the Champions League triumph last season.
There had been hope that Jurgen Klopp would offer Lallana a new deal, but that proposition has now been and gone as we enter the final few months of the campaign.
Liverpool brought in Takumi Minamino in the January transfer window and the Japanese international could be Lallana’s long-term replacement.

“I have been aware of his talents since he was a young player at Southampton.
“He has done brilliantly [at Liverpool] and I’m sure he will be weighing up his options.
“But I don’t need to speak about that now. We’ve spoken about that all through January.
“I don’t need to speak about the summer transfer window.
