Despite Rangers’ poor form, the club are still capable of getting back their very best, he added.
They’re already focusing on their next match; a league clash against Hibernian at Ibrox.
Rangers host Hibs on Wednesday night (7.45pm), while Celtic take on Motherwell.
“I think as the manager has said, the most important thing for us to focus on trying to get our performances back to a level we know we are capable of,” said Davis.

“I think if we do that we should put together another good run of results but for whatever reason there has been a little bit of a spark missing.
“That can turn very quickly and we just need to keep working hard, realise what makes us a good team and continue to do those things.
“There is a huge desire from all the players and all the staff to have success this season. I don’t think it’s a question of anything to do with me being a senior player.
“We need to find a way to win games when we are also not playing at our best. But the main focus for us is trying to get our performance levels back to where they should be at.
“We have to focus, it is a long season and there is still a lot of football to be played. We just have to make sure we concentrate on ourselves and go out and do our jobs.
“Hibs are a good side, a team that can cause you problems and we have quality so it should be a good game.”
Rangers have an advantageous run of fixtures in the league over the next month.
They don’t play any team above Livingston in fifth place before they once again host arch-rivals Celtic on March 15.
